We just got home from a wonderful snow skiing vacation with my family. We were in Telluride, Colorado for 6 days. When we planned this trip I was
almost positive that I WOULD NOT be pregnant this time...but obviously that didn't happen:-) (the last two times we went snow skiing with my family I was pregnant.) Even though the Dr. said I shouldn't ski I decided that I would and just be very careful. (when we were in Jackson Hole 3 yrs ago I was 7.5 months along and didn't ski and missed all the Beautiful scenery!!) Thankfully no one got hurt and we had a great time!!

The breathtaking view from the top of the mountain!!

My family

Blare and Travis were the most adventursome and went to the VERY top and had to go down some UNBELIEVABLY steep slopes to get down. If you've ever been to CO skiing...you know that it is NOTHING like Michigan's slopes. The lifts take anywhere from 7-10 min to get from the bottom to the top. And then to get down usually 20 min. (unless you're me...I usually took at least half hour...I'm VERY slow:) The longest run we took was 4.6 miles long. We were exhausted by the time we got down. Thankfully our condo was on one of the slopes and we could take a break whenever we needed one!!

We didn't rent a vehicle while we were there. We hired a van to take us from the airport to the resort and then once there we didn't leave. There was a gondola that we took from our resort into Telluride. It only took about 20 min. Mom and I didn't ski one day and we just spent a little time in town...the view from downtown was amazing!!!
