Prayers

Some of our good friends, Joel & Erin Drayer have just found out some devastating news and could REALLY use our prayers!!!!

Joel has had some swollen lymph glands in his neck and has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma. He is having another biopsy done on Thursday to confirm the diagnosis. I know they would appreciate ALL prayers!! Thanks

A Record!!

WOW!! I think I just set a new record. Almost 3 months without updating this blog! Hopefully this won't happen again! I'm just doing a short post to break myself in easy:) So here's just a quick review of our summer:

We went to Cedar Point for a day in July with out the kids. It was a really nice break.

At the end of July we went to Lake James for 2 weeks with my family and had a wonderful time!!

At the end of August we went camping with four other couples and their kids. It was great despite the rain:)
Travis and Alyssa got married on August 30th. It was a beautiful day and thankfully the kids were amazing!!

A few weeks ago my family went to the zoo. Madison had a blast!!

And just a little advertising for my hubby...

Blare has a pretty big gourd/pumpkin patch at the farm and it was certainly blessed this year. We have A LOT of gourds and pumpkins and we would love for you to come and get some. We are selling them very cheap. Our goal is to get rid of as many as possible by the end of this week/beginning of next, and whatever is left will hopefully be set out on 124 to sell. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call.

Our Weekend in Pictures

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!
Major picture overload!! We had a very busy weekend and I have the pictures to prove it!!!

Friday night we went to the State park and were with the Isch family. Gail and her kids were home for the weekend and they, grandpa and grandma, and Tom's family were all camping. They had a bike parade go through the campground and all the kids rode in it.

All of the cousins!
Madison loved riding with Jessica!
Travis and Alyssa even got in on the parade!

On Saturday morning the whole Fiechter family went and helped clean up grandpa and grandma's woods. They had a huge mess from some logging that was done. We had a great time. I mostly just helped grandma in the kitchen and was the photographer. Having two little kiddos puts a limit on what I can do!

Grandpa, Grandma, and a grouchy Reid
Grandma and a happy Reid:)Evidently the boys all worked to hard?!?!

On Saturday night we had planned on having some friends to Marv and Kim's to go swimming and to play games, but the rain changed our plans and we ended up going to mom and dads for supper and the evening. I forgot my camera:(

On Sunday night we went out for supper with Andy and Jenna and then went to the park for the kids to play! Since the fireworks were cancelled Sat we were able to go see them on Sunday!

CrewI think Madison liked the rocks more than anything else!Waiting for the fireworks to start!
Reid and Ridge.
Reid's outfit is a little big since Ridge had to share. He went through an unbelievable amount of outfits yesterday. I must have eaten something he didn't like since he kept puking litterally all day long!! Hopefully someday these two little guys will be good friends!!Jenna and ITravis and Alyssa joined us to watch the fireworks and Madison thought she needed to be with them the whole time! Sorry guys:)

Well, if anyone is still looking at this...thanks and have a great week! Hopefully ours will slow down a little?!?!

Well Kristen...this post is for you!! I've been meaning to update for a long time, but just haven't taken the time, so thanks for the little nudge!!Reid has been a great baby so far and we are so thankful for him!!! He's already 5 weeks old!
Travis and Alyssa got engaged a few weeks ago...and to say that I'm so excited is a huge understatement!! I've been such good friends with her for so long, it's great to know that we will be friends and sister-in-laws for the rest of our life!!

On Father's Day we got together at Tom & Brenda's for a campfire picnic and got this great picture of Dad and Reid.

Madison played in the water and sand all evening and she loved swimming with Blare!! He's such a good Dad!!I couldn't resist this cute picture of Cameron. I did this for you Brenda, because I didn't know if I would ever get it to you if I didn't post it on my blog:)

I have a ton more pictures to post but my computer is not cooperating right now, so another time...soon hopefully!!

Quick Post

Just a really quick post to let you know that there are some previews of Reid's newborn pictures on Jenna's blog. They are absolutely ADORABLE!! She did such a great job and Reid was perfect the whole time. When we tried to get Madison with him...it wasn't so great, but she at least got one good one:)

Baby Tails

Wow... what a crazy few days!! We got home on Sunday and had a great night!! Monday we started noticing Reid turning a little yellow. Throughout the day it got worse, so I called and made an appointment for him for today. We went and had labs done to check for jaundice and sure enough his levels were really high. So once again we have a baby on the bili light.

We will go back in tomorrow morning to have more labs done and hopefully be able to go off the light in a few days.

While we were waiting on the light to be delivered I laid Reid in the sun to get a little jump start. He loved the warmth and just curled right up.
When Madison was on the light we laughed because it looked like she had a tail...and once again we have to laugh at his "tail"

I found a few pictures of Madison that reminded me so much of all of this. The top one is her laying in the sun and the bottom one is with the light.
Here are just a few random shots of the last few days.

As soon as we got home on Sunday, Madison wanted to hold Reid. She couldn't give him enough kisses.
This isn't the greatest picture, but it shows how yellow he is. It makes him look really tan and his skin is really pretty.
